PEORIA, Ill. (October 15, 2021) - The Nebraska Wesleyan men's and women's cross country teams raced at the Bradley "Pink" Invitational in Peoria, Illinois. NWU finished eighth out of 17 teams with 171 points in the Men's White Bracket. The Prairie Wolves finished ninth out of 18 teams with 232 points in the Women's White Bracket. 

On the men's team, Norbert Weijenberg led NWU with a 26th place finish. Weijenberg ran the course in a time of 26:18.2. Kellen McLaughlin finished 30th in the race with a time of 26:25.5. Colby Karr finished 43rd with a time of 26:40.3 Grant Reid had a time of 26:44.9 and Finian Herbert was the fifth Prairie Wolf with a time of 28:20.8.

In the women's race, Gabby Thomas led the way with a 24th place finish. Thomas trekked the course at a time of 23:39.5. McKenna Marsh was 34th in the race with a time of 23:49.3. Camryn Larsen finished inside the top 40 for the race with a time of 23:56.7. Josephine Blatny had a time of 25:15.3 and Claire Kallhoff finished with a time of 25:21.8 to round out the NWU top-five.
