Three Prairie Wolves scored over 20 points and Nebraska Wesleyan shot 62.1 percent from the floor as the No. 1 ranked team in NCAA III men's basketball opened their western trip with a 92-81 victory at George Fox University on Sunday afternoon in Oregon.

NWU moves to 10-0 on the season and ties their school record with a 23
rd straight victory.

The Prairie Wolves led by four points at halftime 48-44, then maintained their led the entire second half. NWU got up by 10 points with 8:27 left and would get up by as many as 11 points, which ended up being the final margin.

George Fox (6-3) was ahead for most of the first half, and led by as many as six points early in the game. The last lead for the home team was a 26-24 advantage with just under nine minutes left.

Nate Bahe was one of three Prairie Wolves players that scored over 20 points in the game. Bahe went 10-12 from the floor to score a team-high 25 points with four rebounds and three assists before fouling out.

Nate Schimonitz poured in 24 points making 9-16 from the floor with three rebounds and four assists.Â
Ryan Garver was the third NWU player to top 20 points as he went 9-11 from the field to score 21 points with seven rebounds, six assists and four steals.

As a team, the Prairie Wolves were 36-58 from the field for 62.1 percent. They shot 66.7 percent in the first half, making 20-30. NWU made just five 3-pointers going 5-15 from long range.

George Fox shot 49.2 percent as NWU held them down to 43.3 percent in the second half. Jackson Januik was the top scorer with 20 points and six assists.

Nebraska Wesleyan will close out their road trip on Monday night taking on Linfield College.
