Box Score Nebraska Wesleyan outscored the 9th-ranked Concordia Bulldogs by six points in the second half but they couldn't overcome the 24 point halftime deficit as Concordia earned the 72-54 win in GPAC women's basketball action.

Concordia used a full court pressure defense to force the Prairie Wolves into 31 total turnovers with 21 in the first half to earn the big lead at intermission.

NWU limited Concordia to just 22.2 percent shooting in the second half (6-27) as the Prairie Wolves had a 35-29 advantage in the final 20 minutes.

The Bulldogs (21-5, 13-3 GPAC) finished the game shooting 32.4 percent from the field with NWU hitting 32.7 percent as neither team was able to convert from the field.

Felicia TeKolste had a game-high 18 points to lead the Prairie Wolves.   Courtney Cook had a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds while Bridget Bucher scored 12 points off the bench.

Concordia was led by Tracy Peitz with 17 points.
