LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Nebraska Wesleyan University football team will be on the road for the final two games of the 2014 season beginning this Saturday (Nov. 9) with a GPAC contest at Midland University.  Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and Warriors is set for 1:00 pm at Memorial Stadium in Fremont.

NWU is riding high after their 24-7 upset victory over #19 Dakota Wesleyan last Saturday at Abel Stadium.  The Prairie Wolves improved to 3-5 overall and 3-4 in GPAC play with the win and now aim to finish the season with a .500 record by winning the last two games of the season.  Nebraska Wesleyan has not won back-to-back games in 2014 and the Prairie Wolves are looking for their first win in Fremont since 2008.

Midland started the season with wins over Peru State College and Dordt College, but has since lost six consecutive games to fall to 2-6 overall and 1-6 in GPAC to sit in a tie for last place in the league standings.  Despite the 2-6 record, the Warriors have scored at least 21 points in every game this year and rank third in the GPAC in total offense.  This will be the final home game of the year for the Warriors.
