#2 Northwestern Too Much For Prairie Wolves

Box Score Northwestern College, the No. 2 ranked team in NAIA Division II, showed why they are one of the top teams in the country as they defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 103-53 in women's basketball on Saturday afternoon in Orange City, Iowa.

The Red Raiders are 19-1 overall and remain on top of the Great Plains Athletic Conference standings.  NWU dropped its 16th straight game and remains winless in the GPAC at 0-12.

Four players scored in double figures and 12 different players were in the scoring column for Northwestern as they shot 50.7 percent from the field for the game, hitting 58.3 in the second half.

NWU had trouble with the Red Raider pressure defense committing 34 turnovers in the game while shooting 38.9 percent.

Courtney Cook led the way for Nebraska Wesleyan with 18 points making 5-7 from the field and 7-7 at the free throw line.  Felicia TeKolste scored 15 points in the game.
