Warriors and Prairie Wolves to Clash at Abel Stadium

(GAME NOTES)
The Nebraska Wesleyan football team will finish the 2013 regular season with a pair of home games beginning this Saturday (Nov. 9) when they host Midland University in GPAC football action.  Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and Warriors is set for 1 pm at Abel Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.

Both Nebraska Wesleyan and Midland enter Saturday's game with identical 4-4 overall records.  The Prairie Wolves have a one-game lead in the GPAC standings with a 4-3 mark, while the Warriors are 3-4 in conference play.

NWU is hoping to bounce back from their 31-17 setback at Dakota Wesleyan last Saturday and end the year on a winning note.  The Prairie Wolves are trying to snap their three-game losing streak to the Warriors.  Midland won last year 7-3 in Fremont and has won the past two games played in Lincoln with the last Prairie Wolves win coming in 2009 when NWU scored a pair of touchdowns in the final minute of the game.

Midland has won two of their last three games to get their record back to .500.  Last week the Warriors ran past Briar Cliff, 37-22, at the Dakota Dome.

Saturday's game can be seen live via webcast on the NWU Sports Network or heard on KFOR 1240 AM.
