Nebraska Wesleyan gave Morningside College its first GPAC match without a win as the Prairie Wolves and Mustangs tied 0-0 in Great Plains Athletic Conference women's soccer action Saturday afternoon (Oct. 26) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.
NWU, playing its final home match of the season, now has its record move to 8-3-5 overall and 4-2-2 in GPAC play. Morningside, who led the GPAC standings is now 7-0-1 in conference play and 11-2-3 overall.
The 0-0 draw was the fifth tie of the season for NWU and the fourth 0-0 tie.
Nebraska Wesleyan was not without its chances as they had 14 total shots and six shots on goal. Four of the shots were in the second overtime period, but the Prairie Wolves could not capitalize on the opportunity.
Morningside had 13 total shots, but NWU goalkeeper
Madi Francis had five saves in the match.
