Football Ready To Get Back on Track Versus Dordt

(Game Notes)

Nebraska Wesleyan is ready to get back to their winning ways as they host Dordt College this Saturday (Oct. 19) in GPAC Football Action.  Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and Defenders is set for 1 pm at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

NWU (3-3, 3-2 GPAC) dropped out of the NAIA Top 25 last week, but still has plenty to play for during the 2013 season.  The Prairie Wolves look to add a win this week before their bye week next Saturday.

Dordt (2-4, 0-4) is still looking for their first GPAC victory of the year, but the Defenders are coming off a 56-27 win last Saturday against Trinity Bible.  The 56 points scored were the most ever in a single game for Dordt.

Nebraska Wesleyan's run defense will be put to the test facing the Dordt option ground attack that ranks 10th in the NAIA in rushing.  NWU is 5-0 all-time against the Defenders, posting three shutouts.
