Nebraska Wesleyan University Athletics

Matthew Winter joined the Prairie Wolf staff in August of 2022 as the Assistant Director of Athletic and Recreational Facilities after graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan University in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management.

During his undergraduate degree, Matthew served as an Event Manager for the athletic department from 2018-2020. As an Event Manager, he primarily managed home football games and the gameday operations, including supervising and scheduling 15 or more student workers, overseeing the set-up and tear down of the facility, calculating tickets sold and inventory. Matthew was also on the Nebraska Wesleyan Men’s Track and field team from 2018-2022.

Now he oversees all recreational student workers and athletic facilities as well as gameday operations for home athletic events.
