Assistant Coach Ryan Rieker is entering his fifth season in 2025. Ryan Rieker has been an assistant coach for the Prairie Wolves men’s and women’s swimming programs beginning in 2020-21.
Rieker comes to NWU after spending previous seasons as an assistant coach for Club Husker Swimming, working for Coach Hunt from 2017-20.
He has an extensive background as a swimming coach in Lincoln. From 2013-18 he was the Head Swimming Coach at Lincoln East High School. Prior to taking over as the head coach, Rieker was an assistant coach for the Spartans from 2002-13. During his time, he coached, trained and developed numerous HS swimming All-Americans, national qualifiers and one Olympic Trials qualifier.
A native of Lincoln, Rieker developed himself into an outstanding mid-distance and distance swimmer during his prep career.
