Biography
2017-18: Was in the top five for the Prairie Wolves for a second straight season … competed in eight of the nine tournaments on the year … improved her stroke average for a third straight year ending at 95.46 … placed 33rd at the IIAC Championships … opened the year with a round of 86 on day one of the Sail Classic for best career round … was NWU’s second highest placer at the Sail Classic ending 43rd overall … named to the IIAC All-Academic Team for a second straight season.
2016-17: Played in the NWU top five as a sophomore to earn a second varsity letter … had a season stroke average of 98.38 … competed in all nine tournaments for the Prairie Wolves … shot a season-best score of 89 during round three of the IIAC Championships … finished 31st overall at the IIAC Championships … tied for eighth at the NWU-Doane dual to open the year … finished in 10th place at the Buena Vista Invite in final competition of the season … named to the IIAC All-Academic team.
2015-16: Earned a varsity letter in women’s golf in her first season with the Prairie Wolves … played in five different events on the season … had a season stroke average of 99 over eight rounds of play … opened the year with a season-best score of 92 at College of Saint Mary Fall Invitational … finished T37th overall at the CSM Fall Invite with a two-day score of 188 … played three spring events and two events in the fall.
Academic: A mathematics, philosophy & religion major.
In High School: A four-year letterwinner in women’s golf at Northwest HS … placed 14th as a senior at the Nebraska Class B State Golf Tournament … led the Vikings to a fifth place team finish in 2014 … a three-sport performer earning 12 varsity letters … also participated in swimming and track & field … an Academic All-State performer … also Academic All-Conference.
Personal: Born 5/1/1997, daughter of Charlie and Susie Canfield … also a member of NWU women’s swimming team.
