Biography

2018: Earned her second varsity letter in cross country by competing in the first four races of the season … finished 30th at the American Rivers Conference Championships … highest individual placing was in season opening Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational … placed 14th individually in the college division running a time of 25:25.3.

2017: Ran in all six races for the Prairie Wolves during her freshman season … got to compete at the NCAA III Championships as one of seven NWU runners and finished 258th overall … placed 19th overall at the IIAC Championships helping the Prairie Wolves win the team IIAC title … ran a time of 23:48.1 at the IIAC meet … was the sixth NWU runner to cross the line at NCAA III Central Regional meet placing 66th overall … in her first collegiate race she placed 34th in the college division of the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational.

Academic: Biology major.

In High School: A three-year letterwinner in cross country at Omaha Westside HS … voted the team’s most valuable runner … also participated in basketball … member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 9/22/1998, daughter of Roger Brtek and Rita Brtek.
