Biography
2022: Earned a varsity letter during his fourth straight season... was a part of the third place 4x800 meter relay team, earning All-Conference honors at the American Rives Conference Outdoor Championships... finished 10th in the 800-meter run at the American Rivers Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:54.25... ran leg on 4x800 meter relay team that placed third at Drake Relays with a time of 7:36.32 (4th-best in school history)... placed 11th in 800-meter run at the outdoor season opening Central Nebraska Challenge in time of 1:56.56... participated in two relays at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships (2/25-26) placing sixth in the distance medley relay with a collective time of 10:25.85 as well as posting a 7:59.04 time in the 4x800 meter relay to place fourth... competed in the 1000-meter run for the first time in his career finishing second with a time of 2:36.86 at the Fred Beile Classic (1/28-29)... had a second place finish in the 800-meter run with a 1:59.42 time at the Darren Young Invite (2/12).
2021:Â Was a part of the second place 4x800m relay, earning All-Conference honors with an overall time of 7:57.96 at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships... also a part of the fourth place 4x800m relay team at the ARC Outdoor Championships... placed in the top three of the 800m race on three different occasions on the season... ran a season-best 800m time of 1:55.68 at the Central Triangular
2020:Â Did not compete in 2020
2019: Earned a varsity letter in track & field as a freshman at Nebraska Wesleyan … competed only during the outdoor portion of the season … ran on the 4x800 relay that placed 7th at the American Rivers Conference Outdoor Championships … competed in the 800 meters at three other outdoor meets … best time was 1:59.64 at the Nebraska Invitational.
Academic: Undeclared major.
In High School: A four-time state qualifier in track & field at Lincoln Pius X HS … qualified three times for state cross country … ran on 5th place 4x800 relay team as a senior at Class A State Track Championships …also qualified in the 800 and 4x400 in 2018 … finished 7th in 4x800 as a junior and 8th in 4x400 … earned All-City recognition in track & field … an All-State performer at 2016 State Cross Country meet … lettered three times in basketball for the Thunderbolts.
Personal: Born 11/12/99, son of Clint and Nancy Taubenheim … also a member of NWU cross country team.
