2014: Qualified for the GPAC Outdoor Championships in both hurdle events in his first year of track & field … finished 11^th in the 400 hurdles and 16^th in the 110 hurdles … ran his best time of the year in the 400 hurdles at the Concordia Outdoor Invite in 57.22 … at the NWU-Doane dual ran a 16.91 for best time in 100 hurdles.

Academic: Undecided major.

In High School: A two-time state qualifier in track & field at Gothenburg H.S. … finished 4^th in the 300 hurdles at the 2013 State Track Meet … was the District champion in the 300 hurdles as a senior … earned four letters in track & field … a four-year letterwinner in football … earned All-District in football and played in West Nebraska All-Star game. 

Personal: Born 9/21/94, son of Bryce Franzen and Tia Briten … also a member of NWU Football team.
