Biography
2016: Earned a third varsity letter competing in the pole vault … qualified for the GPAC Outdoor Championships in the pole vault, but did not record a height … set a new career best indoors clearing 12-8.25 at NWU Indoor Invitational … entered the pole vault in 10 total meets, five indoor and five outdoor.
2015: Competed in the pole vault to earn his second letter in track & field … took part in three indoor meets and three outdoor meets in the vault … had a season-best mark of 11-10 ¾ at the NWU Indoor Open.
2014: Took part in the multi-events in his first season with the Prairie Wolves … competed in the decathlon at the GPAC Outdoor Championships and finished 13th … also did the decathlon at the Doane relays.
Academic: Biochemistry & molecular biology and mathematics major.
In High School: Was a two-year letterwinner in track & field at Century High School … also earned a letter in cross country … an alternate to the state meet in cross country … a two-year letterwinner in Nordic skiing … earned multiple academic letters.
Personal: Born 10/25/94, son of Kent and Sue Johnson.
