2015: Qualified for the GPAC Championships in the pole vault during indoor and outdoor seasons … finished 15th in the event at GPAC Indoor … did not record a height at the outdoor championships … improved his personal best during indoor season with a mark of 13-7 ¼ … a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.
2014: Competed in the pole vault for NWU after transferring from UNL … participated in the pole vault at the GPAC Outdoor Championships … did not record a height in the event … jumped a season-best 14-0 at the end of year Concordia Twilight meet … took part in five different indoor meets.
Academic: Business Administration major.
In High School: A four-year letterwinner in track & field at Heartland HS … placed 5th in the pole vault at the Nebraska Class D State Track Meet in 2012 … also qualified for state track in the 4x100 relay … had a PR of 13-6 in the pole vault … a four-year letterwinner in football … named honorable mention All-State at linebacker … a four-year letterwinner in basketball … named Academic All-Conference.
Personal: Born 7/12/93, son of Paul and Diane Brune … transferred to NWU after three semesters at University of Nebraska.
