Biography
2018: Qualified for the NCAA III Indoor Track Championships in the 200 meters … finished 13th overall at nationals … IIAC Conference champion in the 60 meters … earned three All-Conference honors at indoor championships … placed 3rd in the 200 and was on 3rd place 4x200 relay team … added another IIAC title at outdoor championships running on winning 4x100 relay team … picked up one additional All-Conference honor outdoors placing 3rd in the 100 meters … earned All-Central Region honors in the 60 and 200 Indoors … was All-Central Region in 200 and 4x100 outdoors … ran a time of 21.61 at Wartburg Indoor qualifier in the 200 to move up to 4th all-time … his time of 6.93 in the 60 at Wartburg is 5th fastest time in school history … entered the outdoor 200 charts running 21.6 1 at NWU-Doane dual.
2017: A NCAA National Qualifier as a member of the 4x100 relay team that made the 2017 DIII Outdoor Championships … team finished 11th at nationals … earned his first All-Conference honor by running on 4x100 team that was 3rd at IIAC Outdoor championships … also was selected USTFCCCA All-Central Region in the 4x100 … had two other individual top eight finishes at IIAC Outdoor meet … placed 6th in the 100 meters and 8th in the 200 meters … ran a seasonal best time of 11.03 in the 100 meters at the Prairie Wolf Invite … finished 2nd in the 200 at the NWU-Doane dual.
2016: Earned his first letter in track & field … qualified for GPAC track championships during both indoor and outdoor season in sprint events … at GPAC Indoor meet placed 13th in the 60 meters … competed in the 100 and 200 at outdoor championship meet … finished 11th in the 200 and 12th in the 100 … won the 200 meters at NWU Indoor open … both his season best outdoor times came at GPAC Outdoor meet.
Academic: Political Science major.
In High School: A varsity letterwinner in track & field at Bellevue East HS … three-time State Track & Field participant … a two-year starter and three-year letterwinner in football for the Chieftans … named All-Metro honorable mention at wide receiver.
Personal: Born 4/15/96, son of Marol Mamer and Akon Ngong … was also a member of NWU football team from 2014-17.
