Biography
2018: In his second season competing in track & field for the Prairie Wolves competed in the javelin, high jump and 800 meters … at IIAC Outdoor Championships was 11th in the javelin … finished second in the javelin at the Central-Simpson triangular … also ran a season-best time of 2:07.64 in the 800 meters … named to IIAC All-Academic team.
2017: Earned a varsity letter in his first season with the NWU track & field program … competed in the javelin and high jump during the outdoor season … finished 14th in the javelin at the 2017 IIAC Outdoor Championships with a season-best toss of 148-10 … was 16th in the high jump at IIAC championships … placed 2nd in the javelin at the Nebraska Invitational also throwing 148-10.
Academic: Sport Management major.
In High School: A four-year letterwinner in track & field at Logan View HS … a two-time state track qualifier … ran on the 4x800 relay team that competed at Nebraska Class C State Track meet as a junior and senior … a four-year letterwinner in football … lettered three times in basketball … four-time Academic All-State honoree.
Personal: Born 8/8/96, son of Jason and Larianne Polk … transferred to NWU after one three semesters at Viterbo University.
