2018: Competed only during the indoor season as a sophomore to earn his second varsity letter … ran the mile at the IIAC Indoor Championships and finished 10^th … ran a season best time in the mile of 4:33.05 at the Nebraska Tune-Up … competed in six indoor meets … named to IIAC All-Academic team.

2017: Earned his first varsity letter in track & field as a freshman competing in distance events … ran the 1,500 at the 2017 IIAC Outdoor Track & Championships and finished 15^th … had a season-best time of 4:10.99 in the 1,500 at the IIAC meet … was 3^rd in the 1,500 at the NWU-Doane dual … competed in only one indoor meet … ran the Mile at the Darren Young Classic.

Academic: Biochemistry & Molecular Biology major.

In High School: A state medalist in track & field at Omaha Westside HS … placed 8^th in the 800 meters as a senior at the 2016 Nebraska Class A State Track meet … qualified all four years for the state track meet … ran personal best time of 1:57.37 in the 800 … a three-time state qualifier for the Nebraska State Cross Country Championships … placed 36^th as a senior in cross country helping Warriors to a 4^th place team finish … best finish was 28^th at state … a Scholar Athlete recipient.

Personal: Born 9/7/97, son of Michael Phillips and Michelle Beck … also a member of NWU men’s cross country team.
