2018: Set new career best marks in five different distance races as a junior … at IIAC Indoor Championships ran the 5,000 meters and placed 13^th … finished 12^th in the steeplechase at IIAC Outdoor meet … was 2^nd in the steeplechase at the NWU-Doane dual … during indoor season was 3^rd in the 3000 at the Concordia Classic … placed 3^rd in steeplechase at both Prairie Wolf Outdoor Invite and Central-Simpson triangular.

2017: Competed in distance races at both the IIAC Indoor and Outdoor track & field championships … finished 15^th in the 5,000 meters at IIAC Indoor meet … ran a new career best time of 15:46.30 at the IIAC meet … competed in the 10,000 meters at IIAC Outdoor meet to place 14^th … best time in the 10,000 meters was 33:27.89 to place 2^nd at the Jim Dutcher Memorial Classic … ran three different distance races during the indoor portion of the season.

2016: Ran distance races for Prairie Wolves track & field to earn a varsity letter in his first season … competed at GPAC Outdoor Championships in the 5,000 meters … just missed All-Conference recognition by finishing 9^th in the 5,000 … ran four different distance races during the outdoor season … competed at five indoor meets in distance races.  

Academic: Sport Management major.

In High School: A three-year letterwinner in track & field at Lincoln Pius X … ran the mile in personal best time of 4:46 … a two-year letterwinner in cross country … placed 13^th at the Nebraska Class B State Cross Country Championships in his senior season.

Personal: Born 6/15/97, son of Edward and Elaine Simpson … also a member of NWU cross country team.
