Biography
2016: Ran during the indoor track season to earn a third varsity letter … competed at four different meets on the season … set a new career best in the 3,000 meters placing third in the event at the NWU Indoor Open.
2015: Competed during the outdoor portion of the schedule in distance events … qualified for the GPAC Championships in the steeplechase … placed 11th in the event … ran in six different meets during the season … only indoor competition was running the mile at the NWU Indoor Open … Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete … also a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.
2014: Did not compete during the 2014 season.
2013: Won his first All-Conference award as a freshman … placed eighth in the 3,000 steeplechase at the GPAC Outdoor Championships to earn All-GPAC … ran a personal best time of 9:59.77 in the steeplechase at the Gregory Qualifier … qualified for the GPAC Indoor meet in the Mile … finished 15th overall in the Mile race.
Academic: German and History major.
In High School: Earned four letters in track & field at Papillion-LaVista South HS … ran the 1,600 and 3,200 in track … also lettered three times in cross country.
Personal: Born 5/15/94, son of Ron and Carole Dunic … member of NWU cross country team.
