2017: Competed in two different distance events at the 2017 IIAC Indoor Championships … finished 7^th overall in the 5,000 meters … was just outside the top eight with a 9^th place finish in the 5,000 meters … won the 5,000 at the Prairie Wolf Indoor Invite and the Darren Young Classic … was the 3,000 meter champion at NWU Indoor Open … ran on the DMR relay team that won the Concordia Classic … during outdoor season, won the 5,000 meters at the NWU-Doane dual. 

2016: Was the conference Runner-up in the 5,000 meters at 2016 GPAC Indoor Championships … ran a personal best time of 15:26.28 at the meet in the 5,000 … also qualified for GPAC indoor in the 3,000 and finished 14^th … added another All-Conference honor at the outdoor championships with a 6^th place finish in the 5,000 meters … won the 5,000 at Grinnell Darren Young Indoor Classic … competed at three indoor track meets and three outdoor meets … a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

2015: Earned All-Conference in track as a freshman with the Prairie Wolves … placed 7^th in the 5,000 at GPAC Outdoor Championships … qualified for GPAC Outdoor in the 1500 and placed 11^th … also qualified for GPAC Indoor meet in the mile and was 14^th … ended the year with a season-best time of 15:26.58 in the 5,000 at the UW-LaCrosse Qualifier.

Academic: Communication major.  

In High School: Placed as the state runner-up in the 3200 as a junior at the Nebraska State Track Championships … also ran on the state runner-up 4x400 relay team … placed in the top ten at the State Cross Country Championships in all four seasons … finished 4^th at the Class B State Championships as a senior … was 7^th in 2010 and 2012 and placed 10^th in 2011 … four-year letterwinner in cross country at Elkhorn South HS.

Personal: Born 7/17/96, son of Gandul and Khalda Gandul … also a member of NWU cross country team.
