Biography
2015: Added four additional All-Conference awards during his junior season in the pole vault and triple jump … at GPAC Outdoor Championships placed 3rd in the pole vault … had a career-best vault of 15-5 to rank 9th on the NWU all-time charts … finished 6th at GPAC outdoor in the triple jump … placed 5th in the pole vault at GPAC Indoor meet and also finished 6th in the triple jump … earned Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete and Pflieger-Olson Scholar athlete honors.
2014: Earned three All-Conference honors as a sophomore … a two-time All-GPAC performer at the Outdoor Championships … placed 5th in the triple jump and 6th in the pole vault … was All-Conference at the GPAC Indoor Championships in the triple jump with a 7th place finish … had a personal best in the triple jump at the Concordia Twilight with a mark of 45-2 ½ … a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.
2013: GPAC Conference champion in the pole vault as a freshman … won the GPAC Outdoor Championships with a season-best vault of 14-11 … one of two NWU athletes to win a GPAC title in 2013 … won his first All-Conference honor with a seventh place finish in the pole vault at the GPAC Indoor meet.
Academic: Athletic Training major.
In High School: A two-time state placer at Aurora High School … was seventh at the Class B State Track meet in the pole vault as a senior … finished eighth in the 4x100 as a senior … had personal best vault of 13-8 … also competed in the triple jump … a two-time state placer in wrestling taking fourth in 2010 and 2012 … three-year letterwinner in football … member of National Honor Society.
