Biography
2016: Picked up a pair of All-Conference honors at the GPAC Indoor Championships … finished 6th in the 1,000 meters with a career best time of 3:02.65 … then ran on the 4x800 relay team that was 7th place … qualified for the 1,500 at the GPAC Outdoor Championships … missed All-Conference honors by one spot placing 9th … won the 800 at the NWU Indoor Invitational … ran on the winning Distance medley relay team at the Grinnell Indoor Classic … named a Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete and a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.
2015: Competed in three different events at the GPAC Championships … earned All-GPAC by running on the 4x800 relay team that placed 5th at the GPAC Indoor Championships … also qualified for the 1,000 at the indoor championships and placed 11th … at GPAC Outdoor ran the 1,500 and placed 14th … ran the 1,500 in five different meets during the outdoor season … won the Mile at the NWU Indoor Open … a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.
2014: Won her first All-Conference award in track & field as a freshman … ran on the 4x800 relay team at the GPAC Outdoor Championships that placed 6th … time of 9:52.37 was ninth all-time at NWU … also qualified for the 1,500 at GPAC Outdoor and finished 13th … at GPAC Indoor Championship ran the 1,000 and finished 12th overall … ran a season-best time of 2:25.8 at the Concordia Twilight meet.
Academic: Exercise Science major.
In High School: A three-year letterwinner in track & field at Freeman HS … a six-time All-State performer at the Nebraska State Track Meet … as a senior in 2013 finished 4th in the 1600 and 4th in the 4x800 relay … was 6th in the 160 and 7th in the 800 as a junior … in 2010 placed 5th in the 1600 and 5th in the 800 … ran a personal best time of 2:24 in the 800 … a two-time Academic All-State selection … earned four letters in basketball and three in volleyball … member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Born 4/3/95, daughter of James and Kelly Lenners … also runs cross country at NWU.
