HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nebraska Wesleyan Men's Golf earned a second place finish at the Buena Vista Invite this weekend. The Prairie Wolves shot 595 during the competition with their best round coming on Sunday when Nebraska Wesleyan shot 297. 
• Nebraska Wesleyan was led by Harrison Weddell, who shot 143 during the invitational and earned a third place finish.
• John Lapour, finished just outside the top five at number six after shooting 149. Lapour and Weddell both shot 74 in the second round.

Nebraska Wesleyan will travel to Council Bluffs, Iowa to compete at the Iowa Western Collegiate Showcase. The showcase will be held on Monday, September 25, and Tuesday, September 26, at Bent Tree Golf Club.


WOMEN'S GOLF
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nebraska Wesleyan Women's Golf sent three athletes to the Buena Vista Invite: O'Brasia Amos, Emalie Wightman, and Madison Jackson.
• O'Brasia Amos and Emalie Wightman tied for the best score among the Prairie Wolves, shooting 182 over the two day competition.
