Amy Leiferman begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Prairie Wolves track & field program.
Leiferman comes to NWU after a successful track & field career at South Dakota State University. She holds the SDSU school record for outdoor pole vault (13-3.75) and indoor pole vault (12-11.5). She was a two-time All-Summit League performer and a NCAA I West Regional Qualifier in 2015.
A native of Brookings, S.D., she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from South Dakota State University in 2016. She recently completed her masters degree in nutrition from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2018.
