Biography
2022: Earned his fourth varsity letter for track and field... placed fifth in the weight throw at the American Rivers Conference Outdoor Championships (2/25-26) with a season-best distance of 53-6.5... recorded top 10 finishes in the weight throw at the Prairie Wolf Indoor Invitational (1/21), Darren Young Invitational (2/12), and Loper Tune Up (2/18)... sixth place finish in hammer throw at the American Rivers Conference Outdoor Championships in Dubuque with mark of 169-1... placed sixth in the hammer throw at the Prairie Wolf Invite with a career-best mark of 173-4.
2021: Highlighted the indoor season by becoming the back to back conference champion in the weight throw at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships with a throw of 16.70m (54'9.5")... placed second at the Divison III Elite Indoor Championship in the weight throw... had wins in the weight throw at the Buena Vista Triangular, Central Triangular, and NWU Triangular... competed in the American Rivers Conference Outdoor Championships in the shot put and hammer throw, finishing 13th and 14th overall... holds personal best in shot put at 13.34m (43'9.5"), and discus 40.93m (134'3")
2020: Competed in seven indoor meets on the year in shot put and weight throw... conference champion in the weight throw with a throw of 17.40m (57'1") at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships... also won the weight throw at the NWU Open with a throw of 16.99m (55'9")... 2020 outdoor season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019: Scored points at the conference meet for the Prairie Wolves in his freshman season … placed 6th in the weight throw at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships … threw a season-best mark of 52-11.5 to move to 8thon the all-time charts in the weight throw … was 2nd in the weight throw at the Fred Beile Classic … best mark in the shot put also came at the Fred Beile Classic … did not compete during the outdoor season.
Academic: Exercise Science major.
In High School: Varsity letterwinner in both track & field and football at Lutheran High Northeast HS … earned four letters in track & field … a state qualifier in the throws … earned Academic All-State honors for track & field … on the football field was 1st-Team All State Class C-2 … two-time All-District selection … also Academic All-State in football … member of National Honor Society.
