LINCOLN, Neb. (June 10, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan completed another successful 'W' Club Golf Tournament on Monday, June 7 at Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln. The event raised over $20,000 for the athletic department's 'W' Club.

This year, 148 participants and 37 teams competed in the event with three flight winners. Mike Minnick, Jack Minnick, Pat Jones, and John Alexander won the Gold Flight with a scorecard of 54. The Black Flight was won by Scott Kasl, Ira Zeff, Bruce Thummell, and Tom Gage with a score of 61. The group comprised of Dennis McGee, Roger Sand, Justin Schmidt, and Lyle Knox shot a score of 66 to win the Brown Flight. 

Proceeds from the tournament benefit the 'W' Club. The 'W' Club covers numerous items and projects, which improve the overall student-athlete experience at NWU. Learn more about the 'W' Club by click here.
