Biography

2017: Missed the season due to injury.

2016: Ran all five varsity races during his junior season … finished 34th at the IIAC Championships helping the Prairie Wolves to a conference runner-up placing … was the third NWU runner to cross the finish line at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational … placed 21st overall in the college division in a time of 27:37.0 … finished among the NWU top five runners in the first three races of the year.

2015: Was an All-GPAC performer in his sophomore season … placed 13th at the GPAC Championships to help lead the Prairie Wolves to the GPAC crown … ran in four total varsity races on the year … also placed in the top 15 at the Running of the Cows race where he crossed the line in 14th.

2014: Had a solid first season with the Prairie Wolves cross country team … was named the AD3I All-Independent Rookie of the Year … also selected First-Team All-Independent … was the third NWU runner to cross the finish line at each of the first three events … placed 53rd at the season opening Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational for his highest finish of the year … at the next meet ran a time of 26:23.9 to finish 55th at the Charles Bowles Invitational … also competed at the Jim Drews Invitational.

Academic: Sport Management major.

In High School: Earned three letters in cross country at Millard South HS … also earned three letters in track & field … injuries prevented him from competing at the Nebraska State Track meet … as a junior placed 15th at the Nebraska State Cross Country Championships … helped the team to a State Runner-up finish … did not compete as a senior due to injuries.

Personal: Born 3/5/96, son of Jerry and Sue Knapp.
