DECORAH, Iowa – The Nebraska Wesleyan women won three events on day one of the 2020 American Rivers Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships to sit in 2
nd place in the team standings after the first day of competition on Friday (Feb. 28) in Decorah, Iowa. The NWU men are currently in 5
th place in the team standings.
Nebraska Wesleyan had two repeat individual winners and a championship relay team to highlight their day of competition scoring 41.5 team points. Wartburg is the team leader with 78 points.
Senior
Maddie Tolly made it three straight conference titles in the women's pole vault. Tolly won the pole vault with a mark of 11-0.25.
For the second straight year,
Dayton Dolincheck won the women's shot put. Dolincheck's gold medal performance of 46-4.75 broke the facility record. Right behind Dolincheck was teammate
Linnaea Konfrst who placed 2
nd with a toss of 44-7.0. That puts her 7
th on the NWU all-time charts.
The Prairie Wolves women distance medley team was the other conference champion on Friday. Running on the relay team were

Ellie Beiermann running a time of 12:23.50.
Trent Koehler was the only Nebraska Wesleyan men's athlete to earn All-Conference on day one. Koehler finished 3
rd in the men's long jump with a mark of 22-10.5.
