An All-American on the Nebraska Wesleyan women’s track team, Wendi Rocole (Geneva, Neb.) was a top sprinter that had her name all over the record books during her time at NWU.
Rocole was an 8-time All-American, the fifth most All-American awards in the history of the NWU women’s track & field program. She earned eight different All-American awards as members of 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.
She was a multiple time NIAC conference champion. As a sophomore in 1997, she won the 60 and 300 at the NIAC Indoor championships and won the 100, 200 and 4x100 at the outdoor meet. For her career she earned 14 All-Conference awards to go along with her six NIAC Championships.
Competing from 1996-99, Rocole set six different school records in the sprints and relays. She had indoor records for the 200, 300 and 4x400 and held school best marks in the 4x100, 4x400 and Sprint medley during outdoor season.
