Tommi Bolton (Lincoln, Neb.) was an All-Conference performer in women’s soccer and holds every goalkeeping school record in program history. A four-year starter at goalkeeper, Bolton is the top goalkeeper to ever play at Nebrsaka Wesleyan.
Bolton earned All-Conference honors in 1996 when she ranked 8th in the nation in goals allowed per game. She posted a school record 14 shutouts during her junior season and still holds the career record with 40 shutouts. In her first season, Bolton set a school record with 166 saves as a freshman.
The Lincoln East H.S., graduate was part of the most successful run of Nebraska Wesleyan women’s soccer going undefeated in her only two seasons of NIAC play. Her team made the NAIA National Playoffs all four seasons winning 63 total matches during that stretch.
Bolton still holds NWU women’s soccer records for season and career saves, as well as season and career shutouts.
