Everett (’73) was a four-year letterwinner as a member of the Nebraska Wesleyan wrestling team. He was the co-captain of the 1973 squad that won the Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title. Everett was the conference champion at 150 pounds in 1972 and 1973, and was the conference runner-up at 142 pounds his first two years at Wesleyan. During his career, Everett compiled a 54-15-3 record and also won the Doane College Invitational as a senior and took second at the Midland Invitational as a junior.
