Luke won 62 baseball games as a four- year letterwinner. He ranks 4th in assists (280), 9th in runs (105) and 10th in hits (149). He was an Academic All-American as a senior, hitting .282 with 15 RBIs, 1 HR and 6 doubles.
In football, Luke was 2nd in team receptions and touchdowns as a freshman. He led the team in receiving yards as a sophomore. As a junior, he ranked 2nd in the conference for receptions and yards per game, and was named the Lincoln Journal Star’s Nebraska College Male Athlete of the Year.
He was a two-time Academic All-American and an Omaha World-Herald NAIA All-State 1st Team selection. He earned a B.A. in English and history in 2003.
