Kim (Grosshans) Shaw graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University as one of its most highly decorated track & field athletes. In 1992 and 1993, she qualified to compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, where she became a back-to-back All-American in the javelin. A year later, she earned NCAA All-America status in the indoor shot put. Grosshans sits third all-time in the javelin at NWU with a throw of 44.98m.
