Kevin Cook (’86) was a four-year starter in basketball and also competed in track at Nebraska Wesleyan. At 6-6, Cook scored 576 points his senior season for an average of 17.8 points per game as the Plainsmen finished third in Division III. His high game was a 37-point effort against Concordia. As a senior, Cook earned numerous awards including: GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American, World-Herald All-State College First Team, Journal-Star All-State College First Team, Academic All-District, All Tournament-West Regional, All Conference, named to All-Tournament team at Trinity University Tournament, and selected to the NIAC/NAC All Star Game.
