Kelly Sheaff (Lincoln, Neb.) pitched for the Nebraska Wesleyan softball team from 1993-95, setting multiple school records in her three years with the program.
Sheaff, a Lincoln Northeast H.S., graduate, was a three-time All-NIAC selection as a pitcher earning 1st-Team honors in 1995 and 2nd-Team in both 1994 and 1993. She was also on the NAIA District 11 team all three years, including twice being named to the First Team.
She set school records for wins, complete games and innings pitched, several of which she still owns today. She holds two school records including innings pitched in a season and complete games in a season. Sheaff’s name still appears on 10 Nebraska Wesleyan top 10 charts.
Her best season came in 1994 when she set the school record with 16 victories, a record that stood up for 16 years and still ranks second today. That season she pitched a school record 160 innings and threw 22 complete games, both which are still records at NWU.
Off the field, Sheaff was a GTE CoSIDA Academic All-District VII selection.
