Jeff Lindquist (Seward, Neb.), who played quarterback from 1991-93, has his name all over the Nebraska Wesleyan passing charts as he led some of the most prolific offenses in school history. After transferring to NWU from Nebraska, Lindquist took over as starting quarterback in game for of his sophomore season and led the Plainsmen offense the next three years. He earned NIAC All-Conference honors in two different seasons.

The Seward H.S., product threw for 5,795 yards in his career which still ranks second all-time at NWU. He is also second in career touchdowns (57) and completions (454). Lindquist has two of the top five passing seasons in NWU season history and is fifth in career total offense. His 29 completions in a homecoming game against Hastings is still the NWU school record today.

Lindquist guided the Plainsmen to three straight winning seasons and was part of the teams that were ranked in the NAIA Top 25 for 45 consecutive weeks.
