Since graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1969, Hollis Anderson has given countless hours back through his volunteer duties at many athletic events over the years.
A four-year letter winner as a hurdler on the Wesleyan track team, Anderson has been operating the scoreboard for Plainsmen football and men’s basketball games and has been a timer at track meets for the past 25 years.
Anderson joined the Nebraska Wesleyan Booster Club in 1980 and currently serves as the membership officer/treasurer and has served on the Hall of Fame committee for a number of years.
Anderson, who has a Bachelor of Science in biology from Wesleyan, is currently a scientific purchasing manager at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he has been employed for the last 28 years.
