Nebraska Wesleyan University Athletics

Dave Detlefsen (’88) was an elite track athlete at Wesleyan. He was one of a few national champions in two events.  Detlefsen won both the NCAA Division III indoor 60 hurdles as well as the outdoor 110 hurdles.  His 60 high hurdles time of 7.40 seconds is third behind his former teammate and Hall of Famer, Scott Etherton and fellow two-time champion Adam Decker.  His 110 high hurdles time is fourth on the all-time charts.
