Clinton helped will NWU to a winning 18-16 record his senior year. The two-way player hit .326 with a 2.86 ERA on the mound. His 6-1 pitching record earned him a spot on the All-Conference team and All- Midwest Region 2nd team.

Closing out the year, he finished 6th in conference ERA, 2nd in winning percentage, and 3rd in strikeouts per nine.

Clinton graduated with a B.S. in sociology and anthropology.
