Cindy Turman was a two-sport superstar at Nebraska Wesleyan. On the basketball court, Turman was first-team All-NIAC in 1998 and honorable mention in 2000. She finished her career second all-time in field goal percentage (52.6%). On the softball diamond, Turman left her mark in the outfield as a four-year letter winner and a second-team All-NIAC selection in 1997. In her senior season, she batted .342 and led the team with 38 hits in 36 games.
