One of the longest tenured assistant coaches at Nebraska Wesleyan, Chris Baum has been an assistant track & field coach at his alma mater for 21 seasons. Baum has spent countless hours helping head coach Ted Bulling build one of the most successful track & field programs in NCAA Division III.

Baum works with NWU high jumpers, pole vaulters and multi-event athletes. He has now personally coached 30 national qualifiers, 18 of whom earned a combined total of 34 All-America awards and four national titles. In 2004, Baum was recognized as the winner of the AFLAC National Assistant Coach of the Year.

A three-time Conference champion and All-American himself, Baum is a 1991 graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan.
