Brian Bohling (Lincoln, Neb.) was a four-year starter on the offensive line for the Plainsmen from 1996-99 for head coach Brian Keller. Bohling will go down as one of the most dominant lineman to ever put on a NWU football uniform.

Bohling, a Lincoln Southeast High School graduate, was a two-time NAIA First-Team All-American earning the honors during the 1998 and 1999 seasons. In 1998, he was named the Football Gazette Offensive Lineman of the Year.

He was also a three-time All-NIAC selection earning First-Team All-Conference recognition from 1997-99. Bohling started 38 games at offensive guard, missing just two games due to injury. He was the anchor of the offensive line that helped pave the way for four of the top 10 single season total offense totals in NWU history at the time of his graduation.

In 2008, Bohling was inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame.
