Ann Ringlein spent over 20 seasons as an assistant coach for both the Nebraska Wesleyan cross country and track seasons. She worked for 21 years with the NWU cross country program and 20 years for NWU track & field (1995-2015).
During her tenure at Nebraska Wesleyan, Ringlein helped coach teams to 25 conference titles (13 men/12 women), had 22 runners earn NCAA III Cross Country All-American recognition and coached 35 distance runners to NCAA III Track All-American honors.
She was named the 2011 GPAC Women’s Cross Country Coach-of-the-Year and shared AD3I Independent Coach-of-the-Year honors with Ted Bulling. In 2008 Ringlein was named the NCAA Central Region Track Assistant Coach-of-the-Year.
One of the biggest names in Lincoln distance running, Ringlein provided NWU athletes a great deal of coaching experience, but more importantly taught her runners how to exhibit character and integrity.
